To boost productivity many employers have adopted strategies such open communication and praise to be more effective. We have found some essential ideas to help increase productivity at our various work places.

1. Focus on what is important

Have a clear sense of purpose. Know who you want to be and what kind of impact you wish to create for your employees. Your Values are personal rules for how you wish to live your life. When you have strong, clear values, you hold yourself to account and ensure that your conduct does not drop below the standards you expect.

 

2. Be more organized

Whenever possible, group like tasks together. Have the habit of being organized with a to do list. once all records are on the list it would be followed consistently. To  Do list will avoid the feeling be  overwhelmed by the amount of work you have to do and the struggle to meet  deadlines. This will avoid employees chasing you to get work done.  By keeping such a list, you make sure that your tasks are written down all in one place so you don’t forget anything important. And by prioritizing tasks, you plan the order in which you’ll do them, so that you can tell what needs your immediate attention, and what you can leave until later.

3. Avoid consistent long meetings.

While meetings can be vital to your business, they have a nasty habit of expanding to fit the available time slot, even if those extra conversations don’t provide value. To avoid employers being sick about consistent meetings, cut short and be brief and organized when necessary. Some meetings can totally be avoided at all. During meetings allow open communication and idea sharing. Don’t become too bossy controlling all angle of the meeting. Your staff will be thankful and enlighten and willing to cooperate in the next meeting schedule.

4. Consider standup meetings.

When people settle into a chair, they’re more likely to get comfortable in the space. If you need things to progress quickly, embrace a standup format, forgoing chairs completely. This keeps people from settling in and encourages them to get to the point and move on with their day.

5. Be willing to delegate.

Most business owners want to keep everything in their hands, but this can leave you overloaded. Learn which tasks truly require your input and which can be handled by properly skilled professionals. Start by specifying the outcome you desire to the people you trust to deliver it. Establish controls, identify limits to the work and provide sufficient support, but resist upward delegation. Keep up to date with progress, and focus on results rather than procedures. Finally, when the work is completed, give recognition where it’s deserved.Once you split up the work, delegate or outsource quickly so people can get started on their to-do lists.
